A Fresh Start

     Re-subbed, cleaned up, and back in action after several years of being inactive on Deviantart.  It's been a bit of a rough road, but a necessary one as life is full of many paths... you just have to find the right one that makes you happy.  I have upgraded tablets to a wallet savy and portable Wacom Intuos Draw and I highly recommend it for anyone on a budget and still would like to produce quality results. With many projects rolling around in my head (miniature painting, fan art, crafting) and my art room "studio" slowly coming together, I hope to see many new followers in the future! - friends and family - feel free to make an account so that you can better keep updated on my work!

But here is one thing I can say... SOPA is an epic fail even if the worst were to happen.  Think about it.  We all know just about every social network cash cow will fall and virtually cripple internet economy.  Not just for computers, but especially for Droid and i-phone users or any other social networking device.  Net usage will drop and internet provider company money will plummet and crash.  Pretty much putting a final nail in the coffin of our bad economy.  

Remember this is the internet.  A geek and modder/hacker playground.  They will find a way.  There is always a way around.  You just gotta know how and who.  SOPA really isn't going to truly stop anything.  Just piss people off.  Filling up our jails increasing sales of pepper spray.  So they truly would be gaining nothing but it's own downfall.   At least that's how I feel about it.

My thoughts on so called putting art into a box with no windows "storage"...  and don't get me wrong, I read up on it.  It has nothing to do with making room as it sounds.



if it's in "storage" it can't ever be viewed... and if you have a desire to upload art but don't want anyone to see it, why are you putting it on the internet in the first place and and WHY ARE YOU PUTTING ON DEVIANTART!? It completely defeats the point. Yeah yeah and yotta, people cant's "steal" it, but nor does it really count as a "deviation" since nobody is going to care about it.  And besides, if someone needed to store a piece of digital THAT badly and keep it safe, go out buy a flashdrive for God's sake!!!  It's kinda taking away the whole reason Deviantart even exists... and some of the reason I even joined.

UPDATE: oh geez, here's the biggest kicker... I was off to clear out my favorites section because half of it isn't there, right?  I find that I can't remove them!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?  You can't remove a favorite without going into the image and clicking it can you?  And you can't do that in "storage" So now Im stuck with with 90+ an-removable gray blank images in my favs... and now at the mercy of the artist hiding them!?  Deviantart PLEASE fix this!  If I can't view it, OBVIOUSLY I don't want it on my favs... so find a way i can do this with your "lock up" program.:pissed:
